I went in for a recall notice. The service center called me to provide updates along the way. Very courteous reps.

I took the car to Chapman instead of the local garage where I usually have my inspection and oil changes, etc. done every year because the tire pressure sensor for the right side was not working. I noted the problem on my on-line appointment request and at the counter during the intake process. It is clearly on the work order. It does not appear anything was done. The light on the dashboard is still on-- which makes me wonder why the employee who moved the car from the garage area to the parking lot did not notice and check into it. The dash also still displays the warning. There are no notes on the work order about the sensor. In addition, I can't be sure the oil was changed. The dashboard information says the car is at 52% oil life. However, I was definitely charged for the oil change. I was at the dealership for more than 4 hours and all I can be sure of is that I got new inspection stickers and spent $262.14. I guess it is possible that the oil was changed and the sensor checked but my confidence is not all that high given how easy it should be for an employee to reset the dashboard information to reflect correct oil life info and provide me tire pressure readings for the right side of the car. Now what am I supposed to do? Go somewhere else to have Chapman's work checked-out? How do I get the information readings re-set, if indeed the work was done? I had to take the day off work to bring the car to Chapman in the first place. Surely I can't be expected to do so again.

Listen to what the customer is saying and stop always trying to make a sale. I would like to bring my vehicle there to be serviced and know that what you're saying is actually the truth. And not that you're just trying to make a dollar and/or get over

I came in to get my Chevvy hhr 2011 fixed. My gear shifter was sticking snd wouldn't come out of park. Mechanics looked at it and eventually saw that the issue was that thete was a sugary sticky substance inside my shifter preventing it from moving. Turns out a large cup of ice tea I spilled in my car in the previous week had caused my gear shifter to jam. Chevy ordsred me a new gear shifter and put it in. Now it works without any issues. Staff were very nice here and even gave me the remote in the waiting area to watch what I wanted.
