Four Wheel Alignment and Tire Rotation

Getting the most life out of your new Goodyear, Bridgestone or Michelin tires requires regular tire rotations and alignments. Typically, one pair of tires (front vs back) will wear before the other, depending on (make) vehicle type, relative position to the drive axles, and overall loading. Rotating the tires on schedule ensures that each tire pair has an opportunity to wear evenly, prolonging tire tread life and performance. In addition to routine tire rotations, regular 4 wheel alignments help prevent undesirable wear patterns that can create conditions such as tire pull, vibration or premature wear. Tire pull, a condition where the driver is constantly “fighting” the car to keep it driving in a straight line can also reduce fuel economy.
