The 2021 Chevrolet Blazer offers standout styling, and engaging drive, and plenty of space for all your precious cargo, but what makes this year's model so much better than before? Find out right here courtesy of Chapman Chevrolet in Philadelphia, PA.

What's New for 2021?

The 2021 model year will see the popular Chevy Blazer benefit from several all-new updates. Firsty, the Safety Assist package, which includes convenient and effective driver-assist features like automated emergency braking, automatic high-beams, front pedestrian detection, and lane-keeping assist is now standard on the 2LT, 3LT, RS, and Premier trim levels.

In addition, 2021 Chevy Blazer models complete with the V6 engine and front-wheel drive can now be equipped with an upgraded trailer package which allows for a maximum towing capacity of 4,500 pounds, a 3,000 pound increase from the standard limit.

A handful of exciting new paint colors will also be available, including Pewter, Iron Gray, Cayenne Orange, and Cherry Red.

Unique and Exhilarating Interior Styling

The 2021 Chevrolet Blazer is nothing if not sporty, and the interior design of this impressive crossover reflects that. Heavily inspired by the Chevy Camaro, the Blazer's cabin will feature an intuitive climate control system complete with round air vents below the center stack, which can be twisted to adjust temperature settings.

Other visual flourishes include a two-tone color scheme, soft-touch materials, ambient interior lighting, heated and ventilated front seats, and heated rear seats. Storage solutions abound as well, including ledges on the front-door panels and a sizable center console cubby.

What About Performance?

The 2021 Chevy Blazer is no stranger to performance. Under the hood, this all-new ride features a standard 2.5L four-cylinder engine that is capable of producing 193 horsepower. In addition, a 230-hp turbocharged 2.0L four-cylinder, and an optional 308-hp 3.6L V6 are available as well.

Each engine comes complete with a nine-speed automatic transmission, but only the turbo-four and the V6 are available with all-wheel drive. Despite this power, the 2021 Blazer is still remarkably efficient, with the turbo-four engine having earned an EPA-estimated fuel economy rating of 29 miles per gallon on the highway and 22 miles per gallon in the city.
